Bagan is an ancient city located in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar. From the 9th to 13th centuries, the city was the capital of the Pagan Kingdom. The first kingdom that unified the regions that would later constitute modern Myanmar. During the kingdom’s height between the 11th and 13th centuries, over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains alone, of which the remains of over 2,200 temples and pagodas still survive to the present day.
Bagan is fondly known as the ‘sea of temples’. Some of this temples include; Anada Temple, Thatbinnyu Temple, Htilominlo Temple, Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple, and Shwezigon Pagoda among many others.
Bagan has a relatively stable climate that ensures more sunshine than any other Myanmar city. The best time to visit Bagan is November through to May when the rainfall is limited. Bagan is one of the cheapest tourist destinations.
Pakokku is a city in the Magway Region in Myanmar. It is situated about 30 km north-west of Bagan on the Irrawaddy River. It is the administration seat of Pakokku Township and Pakokku District.
Thiho Shin Pagoda, Shwe Ku Pagoda, Shwe Mothtaw Pagoda, Shwe Tant Tit, and Phaung Taw Oo Pagoda are famous pagodas which locate at Pakokku. Irrawaddy Bridge (Pakokku) is the longest bridge in Myanmar.

Day 1: Start from Mother Travels &Tours office (Lanmadaw, 2nd street) at night 8:00pm and continuously pick the passengers up along the way ( Myaynigone, Hledan and Thamine ). Stop awhile at a restaurant at 115 miles and then leaving to Mount Popa.
Day 2: Arrive at the foot of Mount Popa in the early morning and climb up the top of mountain by car. And then, transfer to Nyaung Oo, Arrival Hotel check-in and Lunch time at hotel.
After having lunch, visit to the famous pagodas such as Shwesandaw Pagoda, Dhammayazika Pagoda, Upali Thein and then Bagan Archaeological Museum, Gawdawpalin Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple, Arnada Temple, Shwegugyi Temple and Alo-Daw Pyi Pagoda. In the evening, return to hotel and having Dinner.
Day 3: In the early morning at 4:00am, Visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, Lawkanada Pagoda, Tuywintaung pagoda and Tantkyitaung Pagoda which are believed to enshrine bones and tooth relics of Gaudama Buddha. Continue to Bupaya Pagoda and lunch and rest for an hour at hotel.
Afternoon, visit to Myazedi inscription, Manuhar Pagoda, Htilo-Minlo Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple and watching the sunset view from Pyathetgyi Pagoda ( Pya-Tha-Da Paya ) in the evening and return to the hotel and Dinner time.
Day 4: Check out hotel in the morning, Transfer to Pakokku City and visit to Shwe Tant Tit Pagoda, Thiho Shin Pagoda, Shwe Ku Pagoda and Shwe Mothtaw Pagoda.
Lunch at local restaurant (charge by oneself) and then depart from Pakokku and arrive to Yangon in the late evening.
